Lyquix, Philadelphia’s award-winning digital agency, has an opening! We are looking for a Digital Operations Manager to work on ongoing projects for a wide array of clients, including nationally recognizable brands. Overview
The Digital Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations, resource planning, and project execution within Lyquix. This role ensures that workflows, client deliverables, and internal processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with company goals. Reporting directly to the owners, the Digital Operations Manager acts as the central point of coordination between project staff, clients, and management, enabling the owners to focus on strategic initiatives and business growth.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the company’s project pipeline, ensuring timely, on-budget, and high-quality delivery across multiple client engagements.
- Develop, implement, and optimize new and existing operational processes, SOPs, and best practices for project management, resource allocation, and client communication.
- Supervise the project staff (a team of developers, designers, and other experts); facilitate cross-functional coordination and accountability.
- Implement and manage new and existing project management tools (ClickUp) to enhance visibility, productivity, and project tracking.
- Serve as a point of escalation for operational or project-related issues, proactively mitigating risks and maintaining client satisfaction.
- Support talent management functions, including onboarding, training, and performance review processes for the project staff.
- Collaborate with owners to define, measure, and act on KPIs for operational success.
- Lead weekly staff meetings, daily scrums, and performance reviews to track projects, team capacity, and company goals.
Key Requirements
- Strong understanding of the web development life cycle — including discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams consisting of developers, UI/UX designers, and other experts.
- Familiarity with agile, scrum, and hybrid project management methodologies.
- Practical knowledge of common web technologies from a management perspective.
- Proficiency with operational and collaboration tools such as ClickUp, Slack, and Google Workspace.
- Ability to create and manage project dashboards, reports, and forecasts for resource and workload planning.
- Experience implementing process automation and improving workflow efficiency in a digital agency or software setting.
Education, Experience, and Certifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field required.
- Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred but not mandatory.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management or program & project management roles within a digital agency, web development firm, or software company.
- Proven track record in managing complex, multi-client digital projects and leading technical teams.
- Prior experience scaling operations or formalizing internal processes for growth is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to design and implement accountability frameworks and performance monitoring systems
- Exceptional communication & conflict resolution skills, with the ability to navigate team dynamics and provide clear, constructive direction.
Certifications & Competencies (preferred but not required)
- CAPM from (PMI / Google), or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (optional, valued for process optimization).
- Training in Agile or Hybrid Project Management methodologies is a plus.
