Collins Community Credit Union
Founded in 1940 by ten employees of Collins Radio who recognized the need for a financial alternative and shared a belief in "People Helping People", Collins Community Credit Union is one of Iowa’s largest credit unions, with more than $1 billion in assets, over 250 employees, and 45 locations. It offers the full range of financial products to anyone living in Iowa.
Members of Collins Community Credit Union consistently rave about its customer service, friendly and helpful staff, and competitive rates and fees. Collins Community Credit Union is an active member of the community - the credit union's employees participate in community events, while the bank is a consistent sponsor and supporter of charitable causes, as well as committed to ongoing reinvestment of financial resources in the community.
In recent years, Collins Community Credit Union has experienced very strong growth by expanding into new geographic areas, and attracting new generations of members, while fending off fierce competition from other credit unions, national financial institutions, and financial start-ups. As part of their efforts to update their image, Collins Community Credit Union engaged Lyquix to conduct a complete redesign and development of its website.

After a comprehensive discovery phase that identified numerous positive attributes and substantial brand equity, Lyquix focused its design efforts on presenting a new and modern image of Collins Community Credit Union. The project objectives included attracting a younger audience, reinforcing the credit union’s financial strength and knowledge, and promoting its friendly personality and community commitment. The new website needed to provide visitors with a positive experience: attractive look and feel, intuitive navigation, and content easy to find and read. The user experience had to be consistent across all device types and screen sizes.
Additionally, with new and exciting marketing activities planned around the launch of the website, we needed to provide members of the marketing team with the ability to easily and efficiently manage its content.
Lyquix developed the new Collins Community Credit Union website using a powerful content management system that was customized to meet the client's needs, including a feature that allows them to manage rates for all its products, across multiple geographic regions.
The new content management system allows the marketing department to easily manage all content types: products, rates, promotions, locations, staff, events, and blog posts, with minimal technical knowledge.
