Hornor, Townsend & Kent, LLC (HTK), a broker-dealer and registered investment adviser supporting independent financial advisers across the U.S., engaged Lyquix to update its visual identity, design and develop a new, fully responsive website, and design and develop email marketing templates for its various audiences.

Collaborating closely with the HTK leadership team, we designed a new visual identity to (1) position HTK as a leading broker-dealer and registered investment adviser for independent, life-based advisers, and (2) celebrate HTK’s 50th anniversary. The updated logo, color palette, typography, and imagery style align with HTK’s current standing in the industry, and its focus on continued growth in the future.

Once the visual identity was established, we worked with the HTK leadership team to architect, design, and develop a new, visually appealing, well organized, fully responsive, and compliant website that articulates HTK’s commitment to independent, life-based financial advisers.
Built as a React web app, the new HTK site delivers an intuitive user experience and highlights HTK’s adviser-focused culture, industry-leading technology platform, and capabilities.
To effectively communicate with 800+ independent, life-based advisers, HTK needed a well organized, visually appealing, fully compliant, and flexible email template that adhered to the HTK brand guidelines and look and feel of the HTK website - presenting a unified brand experience across all digital channels.
Using Litmus, Lyquix tested each template across the most popular email clients (across operating systems and versions). Once the templates were approved, Lyquix trained the HTK marketing team on best practices and management of the templates.
The new HTK brand, website, and email templates have supported the firm's year-long 50th Anniversary celebration, outreach to its community of life-based advisers, and its long-term commitment to growth.
