OAL engaged Lyquix to design and develop a fully responsive website that focused on improving the patient experience and validating the organization as an experienced and trustworthy regional leader. Through the discovery and information architecture phases of the project, we found that the existing site’s layout and content were its biggest challenges. It was counterintuitive, difficult to navigate, and users were being overloaded with content that was not helpful. Our task was to design a site that would present OAL’s information in a clean and understandable way; emphasize their unique offerings and values; and improve patient engagement.

With a bright and approachable look and feel, the new site design focuses on bubbling the most important information to the surface and creating an engaging visual experience with unique imagery. Lyquix designed custom icons to represent each specialty, which are then used throughout the site to connect different types of related content. New headshots and environmental photos featuring OAL’s physicians and patients are also showcased to highlight the strong physician-patient relationship that is at the core of OAL’s practice.

With the launch of a new user-friendly website, patients can easily access information on OAL’s specialties and services, learn about treatments and conditions, meet their providers, find locations, request appointments, and access other patient information. The refreshed website will solidify OAL as a regional leader for orthopedic and sports medicine care, as well as broaden their engagement with their patients and community.
